The ideal candidate for the CNC Machinist position must be competent in using measuring equipment, checking parts, blueprint reading, and operating a CNC Lathe.  Preferably have at least 1 year of experience.  Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, lift 50 lbs.  Must adhere to work safety guidelines, ITAR regulations and keep their work center clean and organized.  Must be a team player, possess strong work ethic, demonstrate reliability and positive attitude.

Hours:

7:00 am – 3:30 pm, OT available

Responsibilities:
– Operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
– Read and interpret blueprints to understand product specifications
– Perform quality control checks using precision measuring instruments
– Safely handle parts
– Maintain a clean and safe work environment
– Update ERP (JobBoss) with accurate and timely information

Experience:
– Proven experience in CNC machining in an aerospace manufacturing shop
– Proficiency in print reading
– Familiarity with precision measuring instruments
– Forklift operation, Setup, and Programming experience is a plus but not required

Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
– Previous experience in CNC machining or must have completed a certificated CNC Machining Training program
– Strong attention to detail and quality control skills, knowledge of AS9100 quality standards preferred
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team, possess friendly and positive attitude
