Job Posting: Quality Inspector/CMM Programmer

Hours:

7:00 am – 3:30 pm, OT available

Responsibilities:

Review and approve specifications and traveler documentation for completeness, accuracy and quality objectives.
Perform first article inspections per AS9102.
Set up inspection tools for production.
Perform in-process and final dimensional inspection of mechanical components for standard tolerance as well as GD & T, utilizing conventional inspection methods including surface plate, sine plates, height gauges, micrometers, bore gages, profilometer, optical comparator, CMM
Perform incoming inspection and documentation of outside processed and finished goods.
Perform root cause analysis on nonconforming product and work with Quality team to develop preventive actions.
Actively participate in Zero Defects initiative.
Initiate and lead continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
Monitor production in-process to ensure that they meet standards
Coordinate and provide calibration and records of all test and measuring equipment (We use GAGETrak)
Support Quality Management System policies and procedure documentation and compliance with customer and industry standards.
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

Proficient in reading blueprints and GD & T
Proficient in Document Control
Understanding of AS9100D QMS
Expertise in metrology tools and gauges
High school diploma required
2+ years quality inspection experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment
